DSP​/Caregiver PRN

$17.00/hour

Minimum 3 shifts per month once orientation and training is complete. Requires at least 5 full days during first shift to complete the required training.

The DSP provides general and specialized care and support to each resident. The care and support include activities of daily living, productive activities, and leisure activities. The DSP will provide active treatment, safety, and supervision to all residents of Park Place while promoting inclusion in the community. The DSP will facilitate the resident's independence, and choice in both their home and the community.

At Cedar Lake, our employees are the cornerstone of all we do. We have a DSP staffing ratio of 1:4 at Park Place.

Please note that Cedar Lake Lodge, Park Place, and Sycamore Run are Intermediate Care Facilities, placing us under the “CMS Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination Interim Rule.” Under this rule, employees must be vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption prior to employment.
