Medical Assistant - Internal Medicine - Torrey Pines

This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday from 9:00am-6:00pm.

May include an occasional Saturday. Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

• The ideal candidates if willing to work with multiple providers and be flexible with day to day job duties
• Rooming patients
• Checking vitals
• Assisting with procedures
• Clinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocols
• Predominantly back-office responsibilities but is expected to help with front-office duties on an as-needed basis
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
• Organizes and performs patient care services that support the provider's practice
• Relaying instructions from the provider to the patient or authorized person
