What You'll Do
As a Personal Care Assistant with B Home Care, you'll provide one-on-one support to older adults in their homes while helping them maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life.
Depending on the client's needs, responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assisting with mobility and daily activities
- Providing medication and appointment reminders
- Supporting clients with memory loss or dementia
- Helping maintain a safe, comfortable home environment
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, but we will train the right person
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow a care plan and communicate changes or concerns
- Most importantly: someone our clients and their families can count on
