** Join Ameri Corps as a Health Educator for High School - School Based Health at Erie Family Health Centers. This year-long, full-time service position provides the opportunity to support students, families, and communities while building professional skills through mentorship, training, and hands-on service experience.

This is a year-long, full-time Ameri Corps position requiring completion of a minimum of 1,700 service hours. The work schedule for this position is aligned with Erie's hours of operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Deliver health education and wellness programming to high school students.
* Provide one-on-one nutrition and health coaching support.
* Coordinate student access to vision and dental services.
* Plan and facilitate health promotion events and outreach activities.
* Support youth engagement initiatives and advisory boards.
* Participate in community outreach and resource navigation activities.  Applications must be submitted by

** Education

* Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
** Skills and Knowledge

* Required:

*** Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Desire and ability to present information to groups.
* Current CPR Certification.
* U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
* Ability to meet Ameri Corps background check requirements.
** Preferred:
*** Experience in community health, education, or social services.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
* EPIC experience.
* Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
