Program Overview
N4 Community Care Program Coordinators oversee a team of Community Care Partners providing respite and supportive care in Washoe County and surrounding areas. Program Coordinators are charged with program monitoring, information tracking, and oversight to support N4’s grant reporting and contract management. They implement strategies that support state Regional Center requirements, N4’s mission, regional center policies, and person-centered values and principles for self-determination.
Responsibilities- Complete intake tasks including conducting new member orientations and related paperwork
- Draft ongoing quarterly and annual reports for services provided in N4’s programs
- Assist with staff training and oversight
- Manage telephone and email communication with N4 members and partners
- Schedule and track services
- Obtain feedback from members and other stakeholders
- Keep program data organized and assist with grant reporting and related fiscal activities
- Assist the N4 team with the implementation of new programs
- Fill in support sessions as needed
- Attend special events and activities as assigned
- Travel to rural areas of Nevada as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field or related discipline
- Minimum of one year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual or developmental disability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and patience with people served
- Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously
- Reliable transportation
- Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases for communications and record keeping
- Flexible and a team player
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within Northwestern Nevada
Must show proof of the COVID vaccine or be willing to get the vaccine prior to working with people served by N4.
Schedule- Monday to Friday
- 8‑hour shift
- Dependable — more reliable than spontaneous
- People‑oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects
- Adaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction
- Detail‑oriented — would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture
