Therapist Position at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System
Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults, military, veterans and first responders. The system has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Quality services are provided by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, certified alcohol and drug counselors, activity therapists and teachers.
Care is given by registered nurses 24 hours a day. Since 1986, Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has been a proven psychiatric care provider in mental health and substance use.
The Therapist is a key member of the Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System social services team. The Clinician/Therapist/Counselor is responsible for performing a variety of direct clinical duties in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. Group, individual and family treatment modalities are required. Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in human relations or clinical field such as social work, psychology, or marriage and family counseling.
- Active license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, CSW or LPCA) in the state of KY.
- Two years working in a human service organization with inpatient or outpatient psychiatric or chemical dependency populations preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Stand; walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear, and taste or smell.
- Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to adjust focus.
