Descriptionof Work
The supervisory Behavior Analyst coordinates and supervises behavior analysis and support services to approximately 60 residents with severe/profound intellectual disabilities. They provide services consistent with the dimensions of ABA that may include, but are not limited to, conducting functional behavior assessments and analyses, developing data collection systems and analyzing data, writing and revising behavior-analytic treatment plans, training others to implement components of treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of treatment plans, direct service, staff training and/or parent training, and provides supervision to Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts, Behavioral Programming Specialists and other ancillary service staff as assigned.
Provides supervision according to the Behavior Analysis Certification Board for Behavior Analysts enrolled in the verified course sequence. Provides community consultation and services as requested. Supports and/or conducts applied research on improving understanding and treatment for people with intellectual disabilities and related developmental disabilities.

Applicants who possess the following skills are preferred:
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Management prefers a candidate that has experience supervising Behavior Analysts. Behavior-analytic skills in the training and treatment of individuals/residents with intellectual and developmental disorders. Behavior-analytic skills in training direct support and other staff to implement data collection and training and treatment procedures as part of behavior analytic based support plans with clients.
Ability to train paraprofessionals (including BCBAs and Behavioral Programming Specialists) and other staff to provide competent assessments, training, and treatment programs.
Physical Requirements:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.
Shift
Hours:
1st shift (typically 8:00am – 5:00pm), Monday – Friday with some night & weekend work.
