Phlebotomist/Certified Medical Assistant/Non-Certified Radiologic Technologist
Non-Certified Technicians perform x-rays that are allowed, under the provisions of their licensure. The daily tasks of a NCRT requires precise work and attention to detail as well as adherence to strict safety procedures.
Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS :A. Education
:
High School graduate or equivalent and graduate of an accredited program of Non-Certified Radiologic Technology preferred
B.
Personal job-related skills
:
Verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of radiologic e quipment.
C. Licensure, registry or certification
: CPR Certification, and a current NCRT license is Required; with current registration as Non-Certified
Radiology (NCRT) with the Texas Medical Board
D.
Experience:
1. Prior work experience: One year as a non-certified radiological technologist preferred and experience in a medical setting preferred
2. Physical and mental requirements: Duties of position require moderate periods of walking sitting, standing, reaching and handling of equipment. Occasional heavy lifting is required, including lifting and supporting patients.
The ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
