This position is primarily responsible for direct physical and technically skilled care and monitoring of assigned patients under the direction of the ED RNCC. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary, self-managed work team.
As a EMT, you will- Performs delegated aspects of age appropriate patient care and technical patient care skills including basic first aid, phlebotomy, respiratory care, 12 lead EKGs, Psych patient care and monitoring
- Collecting and reporting vital signs
- Transportation of patients to and from hospital departments and clinical units
- Basic stocking of ED supplies
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-stocked environment for patients
Qualifications:
- Completion of EMT or EMT-IV Training program
- Current AEMT or Paramedic licensure for the state of Tennessee
- Employee must have valid BLS when hired. ACLS, TNCC, PALS and CPI are required within 90 days of hire. ENPC preferred.
