IMC is currently looking to hire a Special Procedures Tech
, in our Cath Lab, full time.

This position performs scrubandradiographic duties for procedures including cardiac catheterizations, peripheral angiography, clot retrieval,pacer implant/explant and more.

Responsibilities include all x-ray equipment, cardiac cath equipment,implementation of patient charges and proper preparation of the patient and labprior to the procedures.

• Graduate of Radiologic program, which is accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiology Technology Education (JRCRTE).
• Valid Louisiana State License
• Previous experience preferred, but not required

• Performprescribed specialized radiographic procedures utilizing ionizingradiation as directed by provider, organizational policies,procedures and protocols
• Operates all radiographic equipment in Cath Lab at a technical levelunder the direction of a cardiologist.
• Set up procedural tray and scrub for all Cath Lab cases and performs scrub assist role during invasive procedures
• Assist with preparation and transport of patient to and from Cath Lab
