Ambulance EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
The City of St. James is seeking qualified candidates to join the St. James Ambulance Service as an
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
EMTs provide emergency medical care to residents within the service area and the traveling public, while also assisting neighboring ambulance services when needed. This position performs emergency medical duties under the direction of the Ambulance Director and in coordination with Ambulance EMT Captains.
QualificationsApplicants must meet the State of Minnesota requirements for EMT certification. EMTs/First Responders must successfully complete an approved training course and pass the required knowledge and skills examinations to obtain certification.
