Salary Range: $22.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Status: Full Time – Non-Exempt

Reports to: Pharmacy Director

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Technician supports medication distribution for inpatient, emergency, and outpatient services. This includes managing automated dispensing systems, assisting with telepharmacy operation, and other functions such as compounding in a manner consistent with laws and policies & procedures to ensure 24/7 medication access.

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Active licensure with the Montana Board of Pharmacy is mandatory.

• National Certification:
  Candidates with current national certification from the PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT) will be highly preferred. Non-certified candidates may be considered with an expectation for fulfillment of certification prior to the expiration date of their provisional license.

• Must be able to reason independently and work with minimal guidance.
• Must be able to interpret data and make sound judgments based on those interpretations.
• Must deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, judgment, and poise.
• Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules.
• Must be able to maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and the general public and use good judgment in recognizing scope and authority.
