Position: Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Location: Northern

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for our Nampa clinic. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support.

What you’ll do:
  • Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Provide Certified Occupational Therapy services to clients and initiate referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Occupational Therapy Department procedures.
  • Coordinate treatment plan for client and provides copies for family and other professionals.
  • Implement and conduct treatment plan as outlined in treatment plan.
  • Provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards.
  • Monitor client’s response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals.
  • Document results of clients’ assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services.
  • Adapt treatment to meet the individual needs of the client.
  • Instruct client and family in appropriate occupational therapy procedures or home program to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
  • Participate in client, family, and staff education.

    What you’ll bring:
    • Occupational Therapy Assistant Degree
    • National Credentialing Board certification.
    • Must be licensed in the state of Idaho.
    • Pediatric experience preferred.
    • Maintain positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, clients, family members and other facility personnel.
    • Project a positive and professional image at all times.
