Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician who is bilingual in Spanish to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This position involves supporting our pharmacists in delivering quality pharmaceutical services while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately while adhering to regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering patient queries and resolving concerns in both English and Spanish.
- Conduct medication reconciliation and update patient profiles.
- Operate pharmacy equipment such as cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Translate healthcare information and prescriptions between English and Spanish where necessary.
- Assist in pharmacy audits and quality assurance processes.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with pharmacy technology systems and software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
