Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Glenwood, Georgia

Glenwood Healthcare is seeking a caring and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Per Diem SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with patients who require speech and language therapy to improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.

About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Glenwood Healthcare, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will help patients to regain their ability to communicate effectively, eat and drink safely, and improve their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
  • Keep accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and services
