We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team at Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New London, Connecticut. About the Role:As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OT) at Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to create customized treatment plans that promote the development of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Occupational Therapists with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
- Implementing occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities
- Modifying equipment and environments to support patient therapy goals
- Documenting patient progress and communicating with healthcare team members
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
