We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OT) to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team at Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New London, Connecticut. As a leader in long-term care, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our patients and residents, and we are looking for a talented OT to help us achieve this mission.

About the Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OT) at Bride Brook Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to create customized treatment plans that promote the development of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Occupational Therapists with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
  • Implementing occupational therapy interventions, including exercises, activities, and modalities
  • Modifying equipment and environments to support patient therapy goals
  • Documenting patient progress and communicating with healthcare team members
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans

Requirements:
  • Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or a related field preferred
