ABA Therapist
We are hiring for a great client in Needham, MA. This is an on-site contract opportunity for an ABA Therapist who will provide direct behavioral support to students, implement individualized behavior intervention strategies, and help students build communication, social, academic, and functional skills in a school-based setting.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct one-on-one and small-group behavioral support to students
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA or behavior specialist
Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to support student learning and skill development
Collect and record behavioral and progress data accurately
Support students with communication, social, self-help, and functional skills
Assist with implementing positive behavior support and reinforcement strategies
Help students navigate transitions, classroom routines, and social interactions
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and other school staff
Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
Follow established safety, crisis intervention, and de-escalation procedures as needed
QualificationsHigh school diploma required;
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field preferred
Previous experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavioral needs preferred
Experience implementing ABA-based interventions preferred
RBT certification preferred but not required
Strong communication, observation, data collection, and organizational skills
Ability to follow individualized treatment and behavior plans
Patient, compassionate, and comfortable working with students who have varying support needs
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary school team
