The RoleIsaac Health is hiring a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist to carry a full evaluation caseload and lead its neuropsychological evaluation program. The Lead Neuropsychologist owns the standards for what we test and how, supervises the psychometrists who administer testing, leads the Lead Psychometrist and the psychometry team directly, and is accountable for the quality and timeliness of every evaluation we produce. You will report to the Chief Medical Officer and, as the program grows, lead additional neuropsychologists.
This is a clinician’s role first. Four days a week you will conduct formal neuropsychological evaluations with psychometrist support; one protected day a week you will supervise, teach, consult with our neurologists and other clinicians, and run the program on your own authority. Our greatest demand is in New York, and that is where you will start.
We are a startup. The team is lean, the systems are still being built, and the program will change under your leadership more than once. If that sounds like the environment where you do your best work, keep reading.
Because we practice in every state, this role requires the ability to practice in every state we serve. You must hold a psychologist license in a PSYPACT-member state that is your state of primary residence, and hold PSYPACT authorization (E.Passport and APIT) before you start. A New York license is required as well, held at hire or obtained in your first months with us;
licenses in California, Oregon, and the other non-PSYPACT states follow on a schedule we agree together. Isaac Health pays for all of it. Licenses already held in New York, California, or Oregon are a real advantage.
- Own the neuropsychological evaluation program: referral criteria, test batteries, tele-administration protocols, test security, and report standards.
- Conduct formal neuropsychological evaluations four days a week, with psychometrist support.
- Lead the psychometry team, including the Lead Psychometrist, with accountability for their performance and development, and supervise their clinical work.
- Own the quality and turnaround of every evaluation the program produces.
- Consult with neurologists, geriatricians, and advanced practice providers on test…
