Occupational Therapist (OT)-PRN
Location: River Bend Nursing and Rehab – Evansville, IN
River Bend Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services to residents at our skilled nursing facility in Evansville, IN.
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for organizing and providing occupational therapy services designed to facilitate rehabilitation, improve functional independence, and support residents’ ability to participate in activities of daily living and overall quality of life.
Shift AvailablePRN
Provide quality occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards
Evaluate residents and obtain the necessary data for treatment planning and implementation
Develop individualized treatment plans that include target areas, short-term goals, and long-term goals
Provide appropriate occupational therapy interventions based on residents’ individual needs
Provide therapeutic activities and exercises designed to improve strength, coordination, balance, mobility, and functional independence
Instruct residents, families, and staff in appropriate occupational therapy procedures to promote carryover of therapeutic techniques and goals into daily activities
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment approaches as appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with nursing and other interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive resident care
Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the State of Indiana
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing quality, resident-centered care
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
