Job Summary
Under the oversight of the Residency Program Director, the Residency Program Coordinator is responsible for and oversees all aspects of the Hospital's Residency Program including coordination of applicant screenings and interview season, lectures, clinical workshops, AOD schedule, retreats, exams, residency events such as Research Day, Chief Pro Tem, retreats and graduation. Oversees/maintains all aspects of program data requirements including ERAS, New Innovations, OpLogs and ACGME requirements, surveys, internal and external reviews, etc.
For all residents, the incumbent schedules and arranges all meetings and logistics relating to program. Assists in coordinating functions of residency program tasks under the direction of the Director, Admin. Ops and works on process improvement initiatives for the program.
- Bachelor's degree required with three to five years relevant experience in program or project coordination or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be proficient in computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets and database management.
- Strong working knowledge of either eValue or New Innovations software preferred.
- Previous experience planning for an ACGME site visit preferred.
- Strong working knowledge with ERAS software system preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
