Behavioral Health Program Coordinator – Military Community

ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Program Coordinator in anticipation of a potential contract award supporting members of the North Carolina National Guard and their families.

This is an opportunity for an organized, mission-focused behavioral health or social services professional who enjoys bringing people, resources, and programs together. The Program Coordinator will work alongside behavioral health clinicians, case managers, military personnel, and community partners to help ensure Service Members and their families have access to behavioral health and community resources throughout North Carolina.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, an effective communicator, and motivated by the opportunity to support the military community.

What You'll Do
  • Support the day-to-day coordination of a statewide behavioral health and wellness program.
  • Coordinate staff schedules, program activities, meetings, and other operational requirements.
  • Coordinate staff travel and assist with travel planning and authorization activities.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of the program's rotating on-call coverage.
  • Maintain program records, consent documentation, and required administrative information.
  • Assist with tracking program utilization, case-management activities, and program reporting.
  • Coordinate with behavioral health clinicians, case managers, military personnel, and community partners.
  • Help maintain a strong network of military, VA, state, local, nonprofit, and community resources.
  • Support North Carolina National Guard Yellow Ribbon activities throughout the deployment cycle.
  • Help connect Service Members and families with behavioral health, healthcare, financial, housing, and other community resources.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with organizations supporting Service Members, Veterans, and their families.
  • Assist program leadership with identifying trends, resource needs, and opportunities to improve service delivery.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a behavioral health or social science field.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and support a geographically dispersed professional team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to appropriately handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable communicating and coordinating with healthcare professionals, military personnel, community organizations, and program leadership.
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience in behavioral health program management.
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience working with community agencies and military personnel.
  • Experience supporting military members, Veterans, military families, or military-connected programs.
  • Experience coordinating behavioral health, healthcare, social service, or community-based programs.
  • Experience coordinating staff schedules, travel, referrals, program activities, or reporting.
  • Familiarity with VA, Military One Source, Yellow Ribbon, Family Assistance, or other military/Veteran resources.
  • Experience working with electronic case-management, healthcare, or program-management systems.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed or virtual teams.
