This position is to work closely with all patients/responsible parties in the scheduling and processing of appointments, maintenance of patient medical record documentation, addressing patient calls and questions, and directing patient flow into the waiting rooms. Completing all aspects of patient, family, visitor and co-worker interactions in a positive, effective, and professional manner, following best practices in the field of Cardiology Care.

May assist with other business-related functions as assigned to include assisting providers to complete patient referrals, to process prior authorization requests, and manage patient billing and payment services.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience and skill utilizing computer programs (i.e. Word and Excel) and electronic health records preferred
• Experience answering and managing multiple phone calls and activities occurring simultaneously preferred
• Previous experience in medical office setting preferred
