** Hours
* ** Monday thru Friday:  11:00am to 7:30pm
* Weekends and holidays: 6:00am to 2:30pm weekends and holidays.
** Position Objective
** The Sterile Processing Technician performs sterilization, assembly, and storage or medical supplies and equipment. They maintain recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilization of surgical instruments.

** Essential Responsibilities
*** Perform biological and chemical monitoring in accordance with quality assurance standards
* Collaborate with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner
* Perform service-specific responsibilities: including collaboration with Surgical Services Support Manager and Director of Surgical Services to provide services specific to instrumentation, supplies, and equipment
* Must be willing to take on lead role responsibilities upon successful completion of required training.
