We’re Hiring at AFC URGENT CARE! We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our busy, patient-centered urgent care team. We have openings in our Frazer/Malvern and West Chester locations in Pennsylvania. You’ll play a key role in delivering efficient, high-quality care to patients of all ages — working alongside a collaborative, experienced team that values clinical excellence and professional growth.
This position operates within an AFC franchised location, a nationally recognized healthcare brand.
- Independently perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams.
- Diagnose and implement evidence-based treatment plans for acute conditions across all age groups.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including X-rays, labs, and EKGs.
- Perform a wide range of procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and wound care.
- Promote patient education focused on prevention and wellness.
- Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently in our EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure exceptional care, operational efficiency, and outstanding patient experiences.
- Active NP or PA license in Pennsylvania, with unrestricted DEA certification.
- Board Certified (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a comparable fast-paced setting.
- Demonstrated confidence in performing procedures, interpreting X-rays and tests, and managing high patient volumes independently.
- Proficient and comfortable treating all ages.
- DOT certification preferred.
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
