Job Duties:

• Under direction, performs routine duties and office planning work involved in the establishment and monitoring of programs designed to meet the needs of the community.
• Provide lived experience/share personal recovery experiences and demonstrates/models effective coping techniques and self-help strategies.
• Provide both face-to-face, telephone, and virtual support services.
• Assist in linking/connecting individuals to any recovery-based and/or community-based resources.
• Meets with the public and others in the community to gather information.
• Coordinates and participates in monthly Outreaches and Events/Activities.
• Creates and runs Peer-Led workshops on various topics surrounding Recovery/Wellness.
• Prepares various correspondence related to the work of the Community Peer Recovery Center.
• Assist in disseminating results of surveys, public relations material, and other informational matters.
• Ability to establish and maintain essential records and files.
• Will be required to learn to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and computerized information systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required License & Credentials:

• Valid NJ Driver's License
• CPRS or NCPRSS credential

Required Education/

Experience:

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum 2 years' professional experience required

Schedule:

Ability to have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the CPRC which may include Saturdays and after hours.
