Position Overview

Amal Rehab Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our outpatient clinic in Niagara Falls, New York. This full-time, onsite role is instrumental in helping patients recover and enhance their physical abilities. As a Senior Physical Therapist, you will leverage your expertise to develop comprehensive treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs, improving their quality of life and mobility.

• Provide comprehensive, individualized physical therapy assessments and create tailored treatment plans that address each patient's unique goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring dedicated one-on-one time to deliver high-quality care.
• Implement evidence-based treatment techniques, utilizing a variety of modalities including manual therapy and exercise programs.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to their rehabilitation plan.
• Monitor and document patients' progress accurately using EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals regularly to develop integrated treatment approaches that maximize patient outcomes.
• Assess and adapt treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations of patient performance and response to therapy.
• Promote wellness and injury prevention, while motivating patients to engage fully in their recovery journey.
• Encourage a positive environment that enhances patient trust and motivation throughout their rehabilitation process.

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain challenges. Our patient population ranges from young athletes to older adults seeking to regain functionality and mobility after injuries or surgeries. • Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of New York, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients effectively.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR software such as WebPT for accurate documentation.
• Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy techniques and methodologies.

• Experience working in an outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic physical therapy.
• Familiarity with sports medicine rehabilitation approaches.
• Demonstrated success in treating a diverse range of conditions using innovative therapy options.
• Previous exposure to collaborative care settings is a plus.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
