The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually.

Work EnvironmentThis role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance, while still providing opportunities to interact with peers and clients within an outpatient office setting as needed. Utilizing advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems, you will streamline patient documentation and treatment planning efficiently. Our organization prioritizes collaborative discussions and regular team check-ins to ensure the quality of care remains consistent and effective amidst a supportive team culture.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status and needs.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices to address mental health challenges.
- Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies.
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, empowering them with coping strategies and resources necessary for progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to enhance therapeutic skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.
In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from different cultural backgrounds and settings is crucial, as you will tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs. Sensitivity to clients' backgrounds ensures a supportive therapeutic relationship, fostering trust and open communication.
Qualifications- A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
- A minimum of four years of experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practice.
- A profound understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for efficient documentation.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive and inclusive approaches.
- Strong crisis intervention skills with a track record of maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven aptitude for building rapport with diverse clientele.
- Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.
