Hourly Rate/Range: $40.71 - $47.34

A diagnostic imaging technologist performs all required exams in diagnostic radiology. Insures high quality patient care and adequate radiation protection at all times. When needed, he/she is required to provide coverage for both Newburgh and/or Cornwall campuses of SLCH.

Satisfactory completion of AMA approved school for Diagnostic Radiology Technology. Required 1-3 years as a Radiologic Technologist Preferred Technologist must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must possess high degree of knowledge and understanding in services and technology.

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Required Registered Radiologic Technologist
- New York State Department of Health's Bureau of Environmental Radiation Protection Required Temporary Permit to practice Diagnostic Radiography is acceptable for new graduates. This permit is only accepted up to 180 days after graduation.
