Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, devising tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and goals.
- Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities that align with evidence-based practices.
- Deliver education to patients and their caregivers to promote understanding of the rehabilitation process and foster compliance with treatment recommendations.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to maximize recovery and functional outcomes.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients by engaging effectively and empathetically.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to share insights and strategies that improve overall patient health and rehabilitation outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, organizational policies, and best practice standards in every aspect of patient care.
Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, pediatric conditions, neurological disorders, and sports-related issues. This opportunity allows you to employ a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques while effectively addressing each patient's unique circumstances and recovery goals.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is essential; candidates with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) will be preferred.
- Active state licensure in New Jersey to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or comparable organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by the ability to foster collaborative relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
