Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of X-Ray or CT experience and ARRT R.T.(R)(CT) certification for a hospital-based imaging role

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Tech or CT Tech required
• ARRT registered R.T.(R)(CT) certification required
• AHA BLS certification required
• KBMIRT radiation operator's license (KY) required
• License required if applicable
• Active Compact or State License in hand required at time of submission
• Experience with GE CT and Canon/Del Medical X-ray equipment preferred
• Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, IV starts, and venipuncture
• Driver's license required, with address matching permanent residence

• Hospital-based CT Tech position in the Radiology/Cardiology department
• 36/48 rotating schedule totaling 84 hours per two-week pay period (one week 3x12, next week 4x12), 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts
• No weekends or on-call requirements
• Float required within scope of practice
• Performs CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest/vascular studies
• Includes special procedures such as coronary CTA
• Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS system
• Supports adult and pediatric patients in acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department settings
• Responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT studies including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and vascular imaging
• Must be willing to accept an 84-hour biweekly rotating schedule; unable to accommodate schedule changes
• Up to 7 days of RTO considered if submitted upfront with no changes accepted
• Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment
• Two professional references required, including one Charge or higher and one supervisor, both completed within the last year
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
• After completing a one-year assignment, travelers must take a minimum 6-month break before returning to this system
• Traveler pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be placed on the same shift or unit
