About Psych Hub
Psych Hub is a behavioral health education company. We build the training, certification, and patient engagement content that helps clinicians deliver care that actually works, and helps members understand and stay engaged in their own treatment.
Our training library teaches providers to deliver evidence-based interventions with fidelity. Our Clinical Care Pathway (CCP) certifications verify that a clinician is genuinely equipped to treat a specific condition using a specific evidence-based approach. Our patient engagement videos meet members in plain language at the moments that matter most.
For a health plan, the result is a behavioral health network that is measurably more capable: better symptom reduction for members, less trial and error, and lower total cost of care.
Psych Hub was co-founded by Marjorie Morrison, a licensed clinician who spent years in practice before deciding the training gap was the problem worth solving, and Patrick J. Kennedy, former U.S. Congressman and lead author of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act. Today we hold master services agreements with most of the national health plans and behavioral health organizations in the country, and those agreements are live and generating revenue.
About the roleThis is a relationship job, not a cold-calling job.
We are already inside the largest payers in the country. What we have not yet done is systematically map those organizations to find the next program, the next line of business, the next team with a problem our content solves. That is the first half of this role.
The second half is opening the regional market. Local Blues plans, Medicaid managed care organizations, and provider-sponsored health plans have the same behavioral health network quality problem the nationals do, often more acutely, and almost no one is calling on them with a serious answer. We intend to be first.
You will not be handed a list and told to dial. You will be handed live accounts, a founding team with deep relationships across the payer and behavioral health world, a board and investor base who open doors, and a clinical co-founder who will sit in the room with you when the conversation gets technical. Your job is to turn that access into growth.
Some of that growth comes one program at a time. Some of it comes from a single conversation that restructures how an entire health plan works with us. You will run both.
What you will doGrow the accounts we already have
- Map our existing national payer accounts. Learn who owns behavioral health, quality and Stars, clinical operations, network strategy, and member experience, and where each of them has a problem we can solve.
- Find and develop expansion opportunities across new lines of business, new populations, new geographies, and new programs inside accounts where we already deliver.
- Build durable relationships with day-to-day contacts and their leadership, so that we are the call they make when behavioral health quality comes up.
- Develop and run enterprise-wide agreements: the conversation that moves a plan from buying our content program by program to a single relationship across the whole organization. You will lead these with a founder or the SVP of Strategic Partnerships alongside you.
- Partner with our clinical, product and customer success teams to make sure current programs perform. Renewals and expansions are earned in delivery, not in meetings.
- Build the target list of regional and local plans: independent Blues, Medicaid managed care organizations, provider-sponsored plans, and regional commercial carriers.
- Run the full cycle on those accounts, from first conversation through signed contract, with active support from the SVP of Strategic Partnerships and our founders.
- Learn what these buyers actually need, which is not always what the nationals need, and bring that back to our product and clinical teams.
- Keep an accurate, honest pipeline. When cycles run six to twelve months, a clean forecast is worth more than an optimistic one.
- Represent Psych Hub at industry conferences and payer events.
- Feed what you hear in the market back into how we position, price, and build.
In your first 90 days. You understand our products well enough to explain the clinical logic behind them, not just the features. You have met the key contacts at our largest accounts. You have a first-draft account map for at least three national payers and a…
