This position is located with the Nashville Fire Department (NFD) and provides efficient and specialized emergency medical care to the sick, injured, and/or critically ill when required, and during transportation to medical facilities. Performs related duties as required.

High School Diploma or equivalent and a State of Tennessee Paramedic License.
Must meet National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Medical Standards.
Must be twenty one (21) years of age.
LICENSES REQUIRED- Valid Driver License
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Paramedic
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Certification in Basic Trauma Life Support (BLTS) or Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) (within the first six (6) months of employment).
