Location: Northern
This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive combination fire department serving the Byers community while gaining valuable experience, expanding your skills, and continuing to advance your career in the fire service.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSApplicants must possess, or be eligible to obtain as applicable:
- Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment EMT-Paramedic certification, NREMT-Paramedic, or be eligible for Colorado reciprocity
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- CDFPC Firefighter I certification OR the ability to attend and successfully complete a fire academy*
- CDFPC Hazardous Materials Operations level certification
* Applicants who do not currently possess Firefighter I certification may still be considered for the Paramedic position with the ability to attend a future fire academy.
