The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Children’s Hospital Colorado are recruiting a faculty Psychologist with a focus on pediatric headache. This position includes a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry, a primary clinical affiliation within the Pediatric Mental Health Institute, and close collaboration with the Children’s Hospital Colorado Neurology team.

This is an exciting opportunity to:

• Provide integrated psychological care for children and adolescents seen in the Children’s Hospital Colorado Neurology Program, with a particular focus on pediatric headache (potential opportunities in other neurology subspecialties)
• Consult/collaborate with pediatric medical teams around addressing behavioral health and psychosocial factors thatimpactchild well-being including pain coping, functioning/adjustment to medical diagnosis and treatment, adherence, mental health, behavioral, developmental, and family factors.
• Teach, supervise, and mentor behavioral health and medical learners in a nationally recognized academic medical center.
• Contribute to program development, scholarship, innovation, and excellence in pediatric neurology and headache/pain care.
