Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our team at Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of our residents, providing exceptional care and support to help them thrive. Responsibilities:- Coordinate nutritional services for residents, including planning and implementing individualized nutrition plans
- Complete and document nutrition assessments, monitoring residents' progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Participate in the resident care planning process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide nutritional education and counseling to residents and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their health and wellness
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, prioritizing resident satisfaction and well-being
Qualifications:
- New York State Registered Dietitian certification
- Rehab experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering personalized care and support
- Competitive hourly rate: $32 - $38 HOURLY
