Fully Remote United States

Facktor is a healthcare consulting firm serving mission-driven organizations, including Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), hospitals, health plans, medical groups, academic programs, IPAs, and foundations. Our client work spans strategic planning, clinic development, financial modeling and management, quality improvement, revenue cycle, and operations, delivered through both interim management and project-based support.

Facktor is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Consultant to provide services on a project-by-project basis as an independent contractor. Engagements may include Medicare 519 wrap rate application preparation and submission, revenue cycle assessments, billing and collections optimization, claims analysis, reimbursement improvement, and other targeted revenue cycle initiatives.

This opportunity is intended for an established revenue cycle professional operating an independent consulting practice who can quickly assess client needs, work autonomously, and translate complex reimbursement and billing requirements into actionable recommendations and deliverables.

  • The Contractor supplies their own equipment, software, workspace, and internet connectivity.
  • The Contractor is free to provide services to other clients, including other consulting firms, and is not subject to exclusivity.
  • The Contractor is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, self-employment taxes, insurance coverage, and any professional licensure or certification required to perform the services.
  • The Contractor is not eligible to participate in any Facktor employee benefit plan or program.
  • Facktor does not guarantee any minimum or maximum volume of engagements or hours.
