This role is primarily onsite at our modern rehabilitation center located in Cypress, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, identifying their needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities aimed at pain relief and mobility enhancement.
  • Administer treatments that align with established protocols and adapt approaches based on patient responses and progress.
  • Document treatment sessions meticulously, ensuring all patient interactions and their outcomes are logged accurately for continual care assessment.
  • Reassess patient progress regularly to adjust treatment plans and set achievable goals.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and recommend assistive devices as necessary to aid in recovery.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and referrals as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training, attending workshops and participating in professional organizations to stay updated with the latest practices in orthopedic physical therapy.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other physical impairments. Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • A valid Florida State License to practice physical therapy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration.
  • Competency in computer skills, particularly in managing patient records and treatment documentation.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, responding effectively to individual patient needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient, orthopedic, or rehabilitation setting is beneficial, but not mandatory.
