Mental Health Therapist - Full‑Time

Location:

Salisbury, MD
Salary Range: $60,000 –$80,000 annually

Schedule:

Four‑day, 36-hour work week — Monday through Thursday

Position Summary

The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services, including individual, family, and group interventions tailored to patient needs. This role requires active Maryland licensure (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C), collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality treatment using evidenced based practices.
  • Plan and carry out appropriate individual, family, and group interventions relative to the needs of the patient.
  • Provide health promotion and training as requested.
  • Acquire and maintain appropriate clinical licensure, practice within scope of licensure as directed by Maryland COMAR and appropriate Board of Licensure
  • Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Licensed mental health professional. Must possess a State of Maryland license of LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a teamwork environment.
  • Possess skills in crisis intervention, evident base treatment, and client advocacy.
