The Lead Registered EEG Technologist performs advanced neurodiagnostic testing while providing day-to-day leadership and coordination of EEG department operations.

** Job Duties
*** Perform and oversee EEG procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic testing and compliance with clinical standards.
* Coordinate daily department operations, including staff scheduling, patient appointments, workload distribution, and coverage planning to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Train, mentor, and provide guidance to EEG technologists, students, and new employees; support competency assessment and ongoing staff development.
* Serve as a resource for patients, families, physicians, and staff by addressing concerns, answering questions, resolving issues, and supporting quality improvement initiatives and documentation requirements.  
** Minimum Qualifications
*** High School Diploma/GED
* 3 years progressively responsible EEG or neurodiagnostic experience required.
* R-EEGT - Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation  
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Associate’s Degree Neurodiagnostic Technology, Allied Health, or a related healthcare field preferred.
* 1 year Experience leading staff, coordinating schedules, training employees or students, and supporting departmental operations preferred.

* ** Physical Demands
** Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples:
Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift.  
* Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

** Salary Range**$28.96 to $41.27 Hourly The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.  Positions posted as annual salaries reflect an estimated amount for a 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) (i.e. 40 hour equivalent)), positions for less than 1.0 FTE will be prorated.)
