We are seeking a High School Psychologist (Psy.D., Ph.D.) or Ed.D. leave replacement from November 2026 through June 2027. The Psychologist will provide clinical counseling and consultation to support the mental health, emotional well-being, and healthy development of high school students. This is a full‑time, in‑person position reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness.

Responsibilities

Clinical Counseling & Student Support:

• Provide short‑term individual counseling to high school students presenting with a range of social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
• Conduct clinical and risk assessments; respond to mental health crises and develop safety plans when clinically indicated.
• Develop and implement appropriate short‑term interventions and coping strategies.
• Support students navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, identity development, family concerns, substance use, grief and loss, and other adolescent mental health concerns.
• Determine when additional evaluation, outside treatment, or higher levels of care are warranted and facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Maintain appropriate clinical boundaries, confidentiality, and documentation in accordance with professional standards and school policies.

Consultation & Care Coordination:

• Collaborate closely with students, parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, learning support professionals, and the High School Clinical Team to coordinate student support.
• Communicate with outside therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other providers, as appropriate and with appropriate releases of information.
• Coordinate school‑based and community‑based mental health services and support continuity of care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case consultation and contribute clinical expertise to discussions regarding students of concern.

Evaluations & Student Support Meetings:

• Review neuropsychological, psycho educational, psychological, and other relevant clinical evaluations and communicate clinically relevant findings and recommendations to appropriate school professionals.
• Collaborate with the Learning Support Team to understand and implement recommendations related to students’ emotional, behavioral, and academic functioning.
• Participate in High School guidance and student support meetings, contributing relevant clinical information and identifying students who may benefit from additional intervention or referral.

Parent/Guardian Consultation:

• Provide clinical consultation to parents/guardians regarding adolescent mental health, emotional development, family dynamics, and school‑related concerns.
