** What You Will Do
** To provide the professional, clinical and technical knowledge, skills and expertise required for the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an ambulatory care and retail pharmacy setting.

** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy Or
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
* AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association

* California Pharmacist License - CA State Board of Pharmacy

** Preferred Qualifications
*** 1 Year experience in a retail pharmacy environment.  
** Essential Functions*
* * Achieves Patient and Pharmacoeconomic Outcomes    Clarify and/or verify therapeutic issues or problems with prescribing physician and documents interventions.
Demonstrates knowledge of and active participation in the outpatient pharmacy quality assurance program, medication error monitoring, and reporting.
Demonstrates thoughtful and thorough identification, evaluation and analysis of triggers/medication use issues that might contribute to adverse drug events and medication errors.
Contributes to improvements in safe medication practice including the mandatory completion and submission of quality assurance data collection forms that contribute to the outpatient pharmacy quality assurance program.
* Collaboration and Teamwork    Operational Services (internal customers):
Clearly communicates goals and instructions to other staff members, including handoffs between shifts (written/oral);
Participates in staff orientation and resident/student training programs. Effectively intercepts and troubleshoots problems, as demonstrated by effective problem solving, prioritization of issues with respect to level of significance and impact to patient care, safety, workflow, and communication. When faced with complex situations, has knowledge of and applies the appropriate policies and procedures;
Effectively evaluates ongoing workflow issues and directs daily workload to achieve efficiency and maximize resource utilization as business needs require;
Attends and participates in staff meetings or reviews staff meeting communications;
Reads work related email at a minimum on assigned workdays.
Customer Service/Interdepartmental Relations (external Customers):
Answers phone in timely, friendly manner, stating department, name, and title;
Fosters positive relationships through consistent, respectful, professional interactions with customers;
