Dr. Richter man, within the Department of Medicine (Infectious Diseases), is seeking two highly motivated Clinical Research Coordinators A/B to be responsible for the day-to-day study operations of a five-year NIH-funded study (R01AG
103431) examining how the monthly cycle of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits affects health behaviors and health outcomes among older adults in Philadelphia. The study enrolls 400 participants over three years and includes repeated in-person study visits, electronic medication adherence monitoring, linked financial transaction data, and randomized evaluations of financial counseling and preventive health interventions.

• Essential functions of this position will include, but are not limited to: recruiting, screening, consenting and enrolling participants; scheduling and conducting in-person and remote study visits; administering surveys and structured interviews; distributing and tracking study devices and participant compensation; data collection and data entry; following IRB and human subjects policies and regulations; developing, updating, and managing study-related materials and documentation; communicating with participants;
  
  and other research duties as needed.
• In addition to the above, the Clinical Research Coordinator B will have demonstrated research experience and administrative skills. Additional duties will include communications with a spectrum of stakeholders. The Clinical Research Coordinator B is expected to provide additional involvement in developing study process strategies, presenting data and reports to the research team.

Spanish language skills preferred.

This position is contingent upon grant funding.

Clinical Research Coordinator A: BA/BS in public health-related field and 1-2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Educational background and/or research experience in public health, clinical research, and/or behavioral science preferred.

Clinical Research Coordinator B: BA/BS in public health-related field and 2-4 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required. Educational background and/or research experience in public health, clinical research, and/or behavioral science preferred.

Required:

Strong organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Ability to work effectively independently is required.

Preferred:
Experience carrying out health policy or public health research; experience entering data and making reports in REDCap;
Spanish languages skills preferred. MPH preferred.
