YVFWC is seeking a Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations to shape the future of our integrated behavioral health across a mission-driven, community-based system. This executive leader will advance innovative care models and expand access to whole-person mental health and substance use disorder services across the communities we serve.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations provides enterprise leadership for Behavioral Health programs across YVFWC. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this leader collaborates with an experienced and dynamic leadership team, including the Chief Health Officer, Vice Presidents of Clinical Operations, the Vice President of Health and Wellness advance YVFWC's mission, vision and strategic plan.
The role guides the clinical, operational, financial, and strategic direction of Behavioral Health offerings, with responsibility for program growth, quality outcomes, access, workforce development, compliance, and sustainable performance across multiple modalities.
Position Highlights- 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week
- $169,000 to $242,000 annual compensation, depending on experience, with flexibility for highly experienced candidates
- Relocation allowance available for candidates relocating more than 60 miles

We are looking for a mission-driven, transformational leader with deep expertise in integrated Behavioral Health, healthcare operations, strategy, and team-based leadership. The ideal candidate brings the credibility, discipline, and vision to lead proven complex programs, build high-performing teams, and deliver measurable results in clinical quality, access, financial performance, and operational execution.

- Stronger clinical quality outcomes, operational performance, financial sustainability, and team engagement
- A high-performing culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Community partnerships and advocacy that improve health and well-being
- Master's level or professional degree in a mental health discipline, such as psychology, medicine, nursing, behavioral health advanced practice, social work, behavioral health therapy, or equivalent.
- 10 years of progressive leadership in healthcare business operations, including director-level or higher management experience supervising staff, providers, and leaders in behavioral health within a direct service provider organization.
- 7 years of experience in behavioral health administration, managed care, program development, service integration, and quality improvement.
