Location: Owosso, MI Agency: Lancesoft Inc.
Pay: $2,700 to $2,800 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 10/5/2026
Position Overview
Memorial Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a full-time temporary assignment supporting both Long-Term Care (LTC) and inpatient services
.
The Registered Dietitian will conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized nutrition and hydration plans, provide evidence-based interventions, educate patients and residents, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients identified as being at nutritional risk or referred for consultation.
- Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition interventions.
- Evaluate the need for specialized nutrition support and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Document nutrition assessments and interventions accurately in the medical record.
- Reassess patients and residents throughout the nutrition care process and modify plans as needed.
- Develop and direct individualized nutrition and hydration plans of care for residents.
- Consider age-specific, cultural, religious, and ethnic nutritional needs.
- Evaluate residents for significant weight changes, new admissions, wounds, and other nutritional concerns.
- Participate in standards-of-care activities, care conferences, meal rounding, and menu evaluations.
- Assist with Long-Term Care survey readiness.
- Provide nutrition education and instruction to patients, residents, and/or significant others.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, dietary staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and department projects.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, and healthcare regulations.
- 1+ year of Dietitian experience – Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from an accredited institution – Required
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) – Required
- Active AHA BLS certification – Required
- COVID vaccination required; exemptions are allowed.
- Experience in both inpatient and long-term care settings is beneficial.
