Montgomery County Community College's Center for Workforce Development is seeking Non-Credit Trainers for Medical Billing.
Part Time casual Employees are hired on a seasonal basis during peak periods, may serve a maximum of four consecutive months (i.e. summer/fall enrollment peak) and are limited to a maximum of 25 hours per week.
Trainers must have experience in, and should be able to teach, the following topics:- Billing Methodology
- Medical Billing Software
- CPT-4 Coding Guidelines
- HCPCS Coding Guidelines
- ICD
10 CM Coding Guidelines - Medical Terminology
- Regulatory Issues
SKILLS:
- At least five years’ experience as a biller or coder. Industry certification for coding or billing is a requirement.
- Associate's degree is preferred;
Must have certifications in CPC® (Certified Professional Coder) from AAPC; CPB® (Certified Professional Biller) from AAPC; or related credential(s).
The Medical Billing Specialist Certificate Program has three co-teachers. Individuals with no prior teaching experience are encouraged to apply as existing instructors will provide guidance to inexperienced trainers.
Teaching assignments may be at the College's Blue Bell, Pottstown, Virtual Campus and/or offsite locations.
