Aston Park Health Care Center is looking for a dedicated, energetic Activity Assistant to help residents stay engaged, connected, and fulfilled.## Position Details
* ** Pay rate:** $17 per hour
* *
* Schedule:

** Full-time, Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am
-4:30pm
* ** Additional pay option:** $2 more per hour if the teammate opts out of benefits
* ** Benefits eligibility:

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with planning, organizing, and leading group and individual enrichment activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs.
* Provide encouragement, companionship, and support to residents during daily programs, special events, and outings, including transportation assistance when needed.
* Respect residents’ rights, privacy, preferences, and personal choices in all interactions and activities.
* Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and caring environment by modeling LSC’s values and high standards of service.
* Complete required training, certifications, and ongoing education as assigned.
* Provide additional support in Nursing and Assisted Living areas, including one-on-one activities, mail distribution, and resident escort assistance.
* Support Adult Day Services by maintaining records, monitoring dietary needs, assisting with meals, and helping with activities of daily living.## Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
* Basic computer skills; familiarity with audio-visual equipment or vehicle equipment is a plus.##

Physical Requirements
* Ability to assist with resident transfers and transportation.
