Baptist Medical Center is looking for a Pediatric Sterile Processing Technician to support the Sterile Processing Department at Wolfson Surgery Center
. This position is a Full-Time, Evenings position working Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:30pm.
- Understand principles of sterilization.
- Wrap instruments/linen properly, while selecting correct supplies to be used for sterilization.
- Able to prioritize duties.
- Knowledge of sterilization equipment and processes they perform
- Able to decontaminate surgical instrumentation and re-assemble into trays
- 1-2 years Instrument Experience
- 1-2 years Surgical Instrumentation Experience
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols.
- High School Diploma
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Required Or
- Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) Required Or
This Sterile Processing Technician position will be located in the Wolfson Surgery Center.
High School
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols.

- Central Processing Experience
- Instrumental Cleaning Experience
- Reprocessing Experience
- Experience in a prep and sterile area
- Instrument Experience
- Certification Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - CBSPD
