** dietary aide
** who will provide exceptional food service in a senior living environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to teamwork and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
** Responsibilities
* ** Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established dietary guidelines.
* Buss tables and ensure dining areas are clean and organized.
* Support the dietary department by maintaining food safety standards during food production and service.
* Communicate effectively with residents to understand their dietary preferences and needs.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal delivery and presentation.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or issues.
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
* Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols within the culinary environment.
** Requirements
* ** Previous experience in food service or as a Dietary Aide is preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with residents, families, and staff.
* Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a busy setting.
* Experience working in an assisted living or healthcare environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
