Wallowa Memorial Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our dedicated patient care team. In this vital role, you will provide direct support to nursing staff and assist patients with daily living activities to ensure their safety, comfort and well-being.

• Assisting patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and other basic care needs
• Taking and recording vital signs, weights and other routine observations
• Supporting nursing staff with clinical tasks as appropriate
• Ensuring patient rooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained
• Providing emotional support and promoting a positive, respectful environment for patients and families

• CNA:
  Current Oregon CNA I or II license required
• PCT:
  Entry level, no license required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required or ability to attain upon hire
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong customer service and professional phone skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork within and across departments
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse populations
• Ability to meet the physical and functional requirements outlined in the job description
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screen and reference checks

Salary Range: $23.63 + DOE / $19.70 + DOE + Shift Differentials
