QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Registered Dietitian license required
2+ years of professional dietitian experience in long-term care with some administrative responsibility. OR
1+ year of experience as a consulting Registered Dietitian for one or more long-term care facilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop preliminary and comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents
Develop individualized dietary plans of care
Partner with residents and families in developing and reviewing care plans
Ensure dietary staff are aware of and follow resident care plans
Identify special dietary equipment and nutritional needs
Review resident charts and provide recommendations for appropriate medical nutrition therapy
